Happy Birthday hockey game head wound

Kadin turns 7 tomorrow so to celebrate we decided to have them put his name and picture on the big screen at one of the Utah Grizzlies games. It was spelled wrong but he didn't mind too much

We invited some family and made some sweet shirts.

As part of the birthday package they gave him an autographed stick

We each got a hot dog, drink (size depended on who rang you up) and an ice cream sandwhich (expiration date to be determined)

It was a blast, the game was close to over the grizzlies were winning, everyone was having fun until............

Josh and I weren't paying attention and he got hit in the head with a flying puck. He was holding Kohen so someone was looking out for us because he was not hurt at all and if it would have been a little lower he would have been. He rushed up to the first aid room were they checked him out

We had to go to the nearest hospital where the kids waited paitently because they were very worried about him (especially Kadin, seeing his dad run off with blood dripping from his head scared him pretty bad)

10 stitches later he was good to go!

Don't worry folks he is doing fine and he got to keep the puck! He is now just trying to think of a good story to tell when he gets back to work. We are happy that none of the children or anyone else got hurt. Our plan now is to move our seats for the rest of the games.
