Rainy, eventFULL weekend

This weekend was very busy full of family, hockey, rain, more family, a little more rain and more hockey! (lots of pictures so I decided I would make it easy on ya and put them all together)

Friday: Trip to the zoo in the rain!
We have a season pass to the zoo so we decided we better use it so we called my mom and dad and invited them to come along. Ivy can't get enough of her papa and grandma holly! We waited until Kadin got out early and went to the zoo. It wasn't raining when we got there but we saw the clouds and knew that it might so we came prepared umbrellas, jackets and all!

Saturday:Hockey season starts
We had inflatables scheduled to deliver but due to rain we had to cancel them. Hockey season started and Kadin had his first practice. Josh is one of the coaches again so me, Ivy and kohen sat in the stands and watched. Sorry no pictures here my battery was dead in my camera. He was so happy to be able to play again and he has really improved.

Sunday morning: Family canyon breakfast on conference sunday
More rain but my family is tough so we didn't cancel our annual canyon breakfast. Lucky for us it started to let up not too long after we got there. It is always so much fun to be up there with family surrounded by the beautiful colors eating a delicious breakfast cooked by the amazing Hal (Thanks Hal!)

Sunday night: NHL Hockey game
The Utah grizzlies hosted an NHL preseason game at the Ecenter. Our family being the huge hockey fans we are we got season tickets to the grizzlies and we got to go to the NHL game. The game wasn't quite as fun as we had expected but we still had a lot of fun. It really makes a difference when you have no preference on who wins. We were right by the team so Kadin was able to watch them come in and out of the locker room and give them high five. Kohen even had fun (while he was awake)in his cute colorado avalanche outfit. It was so crowded (more crowded then any grizzlies game we have ever been to, people came from different states just to see this game!) when he fell asleep I had to tuck him under my seat. Don't worry it was probably the safest place for him especially during the intermission when they throw all the chuck a pucks on the ice.

Very fun VERY busy weekend. It was so nice to have a busy weekend full of things that we wanted to do and not busy driving all over setting up bounce houses. Don't get me wrong I love our business but it is nice to be getting to the end of the season so we can actually have a weekend off! (even though Josh does most of the work :) I owe that all to the rain.
